Why is a customer missing in ChartMogul?

Often when a customer is missing, it is because ChartMogul has not yet received the required information from your integration to import them.

A few examples of the events which trigger a customer import:

  • With our Google Sheets app or API, customers should be created as you send them, regardless of whether you add a free trial date or invoice.
  • Customers in Chargebee, PayPal, and Stripe are imported when they are created. 
  • Customers in Braintree and Recurly are imported when they have been charged for a transaction, or if they have a subscription in a trial state.
  • Customers in App Store Connect and Google Play will automatically update in ChartMogul about once a day with new activity. 
  • Customers in GoCardless are imported to ChartMogul when they are present in your GoCardless account when connecting the integration. Once connected, ChartMogul imports GoCardless customers when they have been charged for a transaction.
  • For HubSpot, Intercom, and Segment, ChartMogul imports customers as per your Create company in ChartMogul when setting.
