Data editing enhancements

We’ve released updates that enhance data editing capabilities for automatic sources such as Stripe, Chargebee, Recurly and Braintree. Users can now add new records, including invoices, line items, transactions and subscription events, to correct any missing data in their billing systems. Additionally, it’s now possible to disable records imported from the billing system to exclude them from metric calculations. Updates to the past due logic and setting

We’ve implemented updates to the past due logic. Subscriptions and customers will now be classified as past due if they have an open invoice with a due date in the past.

The Handling Past-due Subscriptions setting has also been revised to reflect the updated past due logic. Subscriptions will now be automatically canceled if they remain in a past due state or are missing a renewal invoice for a specified number of days. This setting is now source-specific, allowing you to configure different options for various sources.

These enhancements to the past due logic and the Handling Past-due Subscriptions setting are now available for all new ChartMogul accounts. The rollout for existing accounts using the previous logic will take place in the coming weeks. Learn more.

Other improvements

• Net MRR Retention (NRR) now includes MRR from reactivations. This change will improve your NRR numbers, especially if you have many reactivating subscribers. We’ve made this adjustment to align with best practices and ensure consistency across cohorts and other parts of ChartMogul.
• We’ve also added manual subscription CMRR support. Future-dated manual subscription events are now exposed in CMRR reports, helping you see changes when creating, updating or canceling subscriptions with future dates.
• You can now create, list, and update tasks using the API. Learn more.

Fixes

• ChartMogul now accurately reflects Recurly CMRR by including discounts in calculations. Previously, the exclusion of discounts led to incorrect CMRR expansion notifications.
• We’ve fixed a bug in our GoCardless integration that prevented some users from importing their GoCardless data into ChartMogul.
