How to export your customers and subscriptions

In this article, we will learn how to export your customers and subscriptions to a CSV file. This can be useful if you need to use the data in another platform or perform custom data analysis with in-house tools.

Step 1: Navigate to the Customers page.

Step 2: Choose a saved list or apply segments & filters (optional)

Note: If you simply want to export a list of all customers, you can skip to step 3.

You can use a combination of filters and segments to drill down into your list of customers and get to the dataset you want to export:

Exporting customers

Customer exports can include custom attributes. Learn more about adding custom attributes.

If you choose to export customers, you can choose between:

  • Visible columns only: Exports just the visible columns in the customer list table
  • All data: Exports all available attributes for the customers (including all custom attributes)

Exporting subscriptions

Subscriptions exports do not include custom attributes or customers with a status of "Lead".

When exporting subscriptions, a fixed set of attributes are always included:

  • customer_id
  • customer_name
  • customer_email
  • customer_country
  • customer_subscription_id
  • billing_connector_name
  • billing_system
  • plan_id
  • plan_name
  • quantity
  • mrr
  • currency
  • billing_currency
  • billing_cycle
  • subscription_start_date
  • discount
  • status
  • cancellation_date
  • customer_net_payments

After you click export, your CSV export will be generated and you will receive an email with download link when it’s ready. This time can vary depending on the size of the dataset you’re exporting.

Step 4: Click the link sent to your email address
