What analysis can be gained?

This can be useful for comparing the subscription counts by the plan. For example, if you would like to see which plan has the highest number of seats.

How is it calculated?

The SUM of all active subscriptions x their quantity value. If you don't use quantities on your subscriptions (or your billing system doesn't support subscription quantities) then this graph will appear the same as your subscription graph.
