This article explains how to export your ChartMogul customers and metrics to a Google sheet using the ChartMogul Google Sheets app.
Installing the Google Sheets app
Open a Google Sheet and select Add-ons from the menu. Select "Get Add-ons...", and then search for ChartMogul in the Google Sheets Add-ons store.
Alternatively, go directly to the ChartMogul Google Sheets app, and click "Install".
Input your ChartMogul API Keys
Once you have installed the ChartMogul Google Sheets app, navigate to a Google Sheet and select "ChartMogul" > "Open app" and add your ChartMogul API Keys.
Navigate to https://app.chartmogul.com/#admin/api. Copy and paste both your ChartMogul API Token and Secret Key into the app's input fields. Finally, click "Save keys". You will now be able to export your ChartMogul data to a Google Sheet.
Once you have installed the ChartMogul Google Sheets app, you can export your customers to a Google Sheet by clicking Metrics > "Import ChartMogul customers".
The export will contain data and metrics for all of your customers, including customer attributes and tags.
Once your export completes you will be notified in the Google Sheets app.
Note: a customers export can take some time. Please leave the Google Sheet open during while your customers are being exported.
Once you have installed the ChartMogul Google Sheets app, you can export your ChartMogul metrics to a Google Sheet by following these steps:
- Click "Metrics"
- In the input fields below "Import metrics", enter the period start and end dates that you would like the metrics to cover. Dates must be in this format: YYYY-MM-DD. E.g. 2015-02-28 and 2016-02-28.
- Next, select the metric you would like export and the time interval.
- Finally, click "Import metrics"
The data export can take some time, please note that closing the app or the Google Sheet will cancel the export.
