Configuring email as a destination

Configure email as one of ChartMogul’s advanced destinations to export and email MRR movements, customers, custom attributes and tag data as CSV on a scheduled basis.

Before you begin

Please review the following details before completing the steps outlined in this article.

• Ensure each recipient has been added as a team member in ChartMogul.
• ChartMogul emails download links to your recipients based on the frequency you choose. Datasets are split into multiple CSVs, each containing a maximum of 500,000 rows.
• Download links expire as follows:
  • Daily — Two days
  • Weekly — Two days
  • Monthly —  Seven days

Adding email as a destination

1. Navigate to Settings & Data > Destinations.
2. Click ADD DESTINATION and select Email.
3. Enter a unique name for your destination in the Name field, then click NEXT.
4. Under Frequency, choose how often you’d like ChartMogul to export and email data as CSV:
   • Daily (9:00 UTC each day),
   • Weekly (9:00 UTC each Sunday) or
   • Monthly (9:00 UTC on the first day of each month).
5. Choose which datasets you'd like to send:
   • Source Data
     • Tags
     • Custom Attributes
   • Calculated Data
     • Customers
     • MRR Movements
     • CMRR Movements
     • Subscriptions
     • MRR per Customer per Month
     • MRR and Quantity per Customer per Month per Plan
     • Plan Groups
     • MRR Intervals
6. Select each recipient’s email address in the Recipients field.

7. Click SAVE to create the destination. Click SEND DATA to start the first export.

   

ChartMogul will be emailing the datasets you’ve selected as CSV to your recipients based on your Frequency setting.

Click SEND DATA NOW to trigger an export outside of your scheduled intervals. Learn more.

ChartMogul doesn’t send updates for MRR movements below 0.5% of the total MRR or five cents (pence, centavos, etc.).
