Exporting source data to CSV

You’ll need to be an Admin or Owner in ChartMogul to access Settings. Read more about roles and permissions.

To export Recurly or Braintree data, you must be using the latest integration versions.

ChartMogul's Export to CSV feature lets you download your billing source data as a CSV file so you can review or edit it in a third-party tool. A source is a billing integration (for example, Stripe or Chargebee) that sends subscription data to ChartMogul.

How to Navigate to Your Source

Go to Settings.
Select the source you want to export.

How to Select a Dataset

Select the dataset you’d like to export:

Customers
Contacts
Invoices
Invoice line items
Transactions
Subscription events
Manual subscriptions
Subscriptions
Plans

Each dataset has specific fields. See importing data using CSV for the full field list.

How to Filter Your Data (Optional)

To export all data, skip this step.

Use the filter drop-downs to export a specific subset of data. You can filter by CSV import (a specific import batch — useful if you've imported data in multiple rounds), customer, import status (for example, imported or pending), invoice ID, or subscription ID.

How to Export Your Data

Click :save-chart~gray: Export CSV.
Choose what to export:
- Selected data table — ChartMogul creates one CSV file.
- All data — ChartMogul creates a ZIP file with one CSV per dataset.
Click EXPORT.

ChartMogul generates your export and emails you a download link when it's ready. Export time depends on the size of the selected dataset(s).

The link is valid for seven days. Select it to download a ZIP file of your exported data. Uncompress the ZIP and open the CSV in your preferred application.
