How up-to-date is the data in ChartMogul?

Once you’ve connected your integration to ChartMogul, here’s how frequently your data is updated.

ChartMogul receives data from integrations using webhooks. To help ensure webhooks are processed in order, ChartMogul receives a webhook and listens for activities for 10 minutes before processing the webhook. This means that the data received from a webhook won’t appear immediately in the dashboard.

ChartMogul transforms the data it receives to our data model, so you might see some differences between your integration and ChartMogul. For example, a customer with a 100% discount may be active in your billing system but be considered a lead in ChartMogul as our data model interprets a customer that has never paid as a lead.


There are some situations when data is interrupted, causing delays:

  • Infrastructure issues from integrations causing a delay in webhooks being sent
  • Large influxes of webhooks received at the same time
  • Infrastructure issues arising from our own service provider

When using the ChartMogul API, imported customers, plans, invoices, and sources should be reported in ChartMogul within a few minutes and will be available via the API immediately. Your data will be processed and reported faster when batches of customer invoices are sent with each request, instead of one invoice per request.
