Report: Non-Recurring Cash Flow
The Non-Recurring Cash Flow report tracks cash received from one-time invoice line items — charges outside of recurring subscriptions, such as setup fees, professional services, and usage-based charges — plotted over time. Use it to understand the non-subscription portion of your gross revenue alongside your recurring cash flow.

What to Know About This Report
- An invoice is considered paid once its associated transaction is successful.
- Includes cash received from non-recurring (i.e., one-time) invoice line items.
- Revenue from metered charges is included if billed as non-recurring invoice line items.
- Discounts reduce the total amount — ChartMogul subtracts any discount applied to the invoice line item.
- Taxes, refunds, and transaction fees are not deducted from the total.
- All customers contribute to this report, regardless of their status.
How ChartMogul Calculates Non-Recurring Cash Flow
ChartMogul calculates Non-Recurring Cash Flow as the total cash received from paid invoices applied to non-recurring invoice line items (one-time charges not tied to a subscription). It sums every successful payment across one-time charges in the selected date range, subtracting any discounts.
How to Read the Report Data Table
The Report Data table breaks down your non-recurring cash flow into these columns:
- Non-Recurring Cash Flow — Total cash received from one-time invoice line items in the selected period. Discounts reduce this amount; refunds and taxes don't.
- Change — The increase or decrease from the previous report interval (the time period set by your report's date grouping — day, week, or month), shown as a percentage.
To download all paid invoices for the period, click Export above Report Data and choose Transaction details. ChartMogul emails you a download link when it’s ready. See exporting data to CSV for details.
