- Multi-component subscription sets are counted as a single subscription, regardless of the number of individual components within the set.
Free subscriptions
This chart is only available for accounts with free subscription and trial line item support. We introduced this functionality on October 2, 2025 and are gradually making it available to all accounts.
Calculation
ChartMogul calculates Paid Subscription Growth Rate as the percentage change in total active paid subscriptions from one period to the next:
(Subscriptions this period − Subscriptions previous period) ÷ Subscriptions previous period × 100
Chart Data
The Chart Data table for Paid Subscription Growth Rate works differently from other charts. It provides the following breakdown:
- Total Subscriptions — The total number of active paid subscriptions in the period.
- Paid Subscription Growth Rate — The percentage change in total active paid subscriptions compared to the previous period.
- Change — The percentage change in Paid Subscription Growth Rate compared to the previous period.
