Chart: Free Subscribers
The Free Subscribers chart tracks the total number of customers with only free subscriptions over time.
For SaaS businesses that offer free plans alongside paid tiers, it shows how large your non-paying subscriber base is and how it’s changing. Use this chart alongside the Paid Subscribers and All Subscribers charts to understand the split between free and paying customers.

Calculation
ChartMogul calculates Free Subscribers as the total number of all customers with at least one active subscription with zero MRR and no active paid subscriptions in a given period.
