Report: Churned Subscribers
The Churned Subscribers report tracks the number of paid subscribers who canceled their last remaining subscription over time. It shows churned subscribers from the Paid Subscribers report as their own report, so they're easier to segment and compare.
For SaaS businesses, the number of customers lost shows how many accounts you need to replace each period, regardless of how much they paid. Use it alongside Churn MRR to see whether you're losing many small customers or a few large ones.
To track churn as a percentage of your subscribers, use Customer Churn Rate.

Report Notes
- Each customer is counted once, even if they cancel multiple subscriptions.
- Only customers who cancel their last remaining paid subscription contribute to this report. Customers who cancel some but not all of their subscriptions are still subscribers.
- Churned subscribers are shown as a positive number in red. For example, 5 churned subscribers appear as 5, not −5.
- Familiarize yourself with the Churn Recognition and Handling Past-due Subscriptions settings, which control when ChartMogul recognizes churn.
- The report shows bars by default. Select LINE to see the trend as a line.
- The summary below the report shows the number of churned subscribers for Today, the Last 7 days, the Last 30 days, the Previous 30 days and All time. The percentage next to Previous 30 days shows the change from the previous 30 days to the last 30 days.
Calculation
