Contact Profiles

A contact in ChartMogul is a person with a current or past relationship with your business. A contact can be associated with a customer or exist on their own.

Each contact has a profile page. There you can view and edit their details, manage their tasks and sequences, and review their activity.

To open a contact's profile, select their row in a contact list. Or select :open-page~gray: Open contact next to their name in the Contacts section of a customer profile.

Read-only team members can view contact information. Staff, Admins and Owners can update it. Read more about roles and permissions.

Here's what we cover in this article:

Sections of a contact profile

A contact profile consists of the header, the side panel and the Activity feed.

The header shows the following contact information:

  • Contact name – The contact's first and last name, if present.
  • Last seen – How long ago the contact was last active. Hover over the value to see the exact date and time. If the contact has never been active, this shows Never. ChartMogul gets this information from ChartMogul.js, HubSpot, Intercom or the API.
  • Signed up – How long ago the contact signed up. Hover over the value to see the exact date and time. This is usually the date the contact was created in ChartMogul, but it can also come from ChartMogul.js.

If the contact is associated with a customer, the header also shows some customer details:

Team members without access to analytics see a lock icon instead of MRR and ARR.

Select :chartmogul-ai~gray: ASK AI to open ChartMogul AI in a panel next to the profile. It takes the contact into account when answering your questions.

Side panel

The side panel holds the contact's tasks, sequences, details and custom attributes. Select :collapse~gray: next to the avatar to hide or show the panel.

Select the triangle next to a section heading to collapse or expand it. To reorder sections, hover over a section to reveal a drag handle, then drag it to a new position. Your layout is saved for you only and doesn't affect other team members.
